On Sunday, August 7th, 2016 we will be celebrating ‘Parousia Day’ aka ‘New Jerusalem Day’ at The Blue Point Bible Church.
This is going to be a collaborative effort within the ‘Fulfilled Eschatology’ community, and among those who understand the reality of the fulfilled parousia. This will be the first time we celebrate this reality as a community, prayerfully this will be encouraging, edifying, and glorifying to God through the unity of His people
On August 10th, 70 AD the Second Temple fell in Jerusalem. Since that fateful day, it has been made clear that Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of a new temple, God’s dwelling place made up of people from all nations (Ephesians 2:19-22). “Parousia” is a Greek word meaning “presence.”
Join us on August 7th, as we celebrate the presence of Jesus in New Jerusalem, the city of God, where Jesus dwells today with His people (Revelation 21:3; II Corinthians 6:16).
We will be offering the explanation of and the participation in the fulfilled Lord’s Table. As well as some creative ideas of celebrating the old to the new. 🙂
